The bathrooms at Trestle Park and the Soccer Field are on time lock. Trestle Park times are 9am to 10pm. The Soccer Field times are 9am to 9pm.
Trestle Park
Trestle Park established to commemorate Prudenville the counties first village established in 1870 and the logging era that began circa 1875.

  The Ceremony for the Dedication of the Prudenville-Railroad Trestle Michigan State Historical Marker was held September 6, 2014. Two years and one month after the Groundbreaking Ceremony. Pictured from left to right Jim Debo, Paula Fuller, Craig Cotterman, Dr. Jim Sullivan, Bob Michela, Patricia Inman, Jean Schnieder, and Mary Michela.  Also present was the Honorable Bruce Rendon the State Representative of the 103rd District.

Trestle Dedication


The Groundbreaking ceremony  for Trestle Park was held Monday, Aug. 6, 2014 at 1:30pm. A large crowd was in attendance for this great event. 2014 Township Officials Supervisor Craig Cotterman,  retiring Treasurer Carolyn Pietchek, Clerk Carol Asher, and Trustees Paula Fuller and Gary Williams along with the various contractors were on hand. Kim Akin, who wrote the grant, held the Golden Shovel

Come enjoy some of the recreational opportunities available in Denton Township! We provide campsites at the Mobile Home & RV Park and swimming at Sullivan Beach. We also have The Rotary Park complex with a picnic pavilion, softball field & soccer field - a great place for family or friends to get together.

During the months of June, July and August, Trestle Parks hosts Third Thursday free concerts at 7PM.

Denton Township held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on September 20, 2017.
The Ribbon was cut by Nick Sergeant,
David Hock, and Jim Braid after a speech
given by Denton Township Supervisor, Bob Spaulding.

After the ribbon cutting, the pickleball players gathered together for a photograph.
