DENTON TOWNSHIP AMBULANCE SERVICE

Denton Township Ambulance Service provides coverage with two Advanced Life Support Ambulances full time, with additional ALS ambulances staffed at busy times and special events. For non-emergency questions you may call the ambulance billing office Monday thru Friday from 8:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. at (989) 366-8083. Denton Township Ambulance is not only available at the time of an emergency, they are also able to transfer you from one hospital to another. Hospital staff are not always aware of this, so you must remember to request Denton Township Ambulance for Transport. The Vial of Life is available at the Denton Township office. Vial of Life is not only for the currently ill, it is helpful in all emergency situations. If you already have a Vial, make sure it is updated after any changes in health or medication.

Denton Township CERT Program

Denton Township received a federal grant to set up and train a C.E.R.T. Team. Community Emergency Response Teams provide immediate assistance during an emergency until First Responders are available. This allows ordinary citizens to step up and help their neighbors during a disaster. Adults of all ages may join. A basic training course and all equipment is provided. Team members will train to assist the Denton Fire, EMS and Police Departments. Emergencies such as severe weather and prolonged power outages can and have happened in our community. The first of three classes has begun and ended with 15 graduating. The second class has started and a third will commence later in the year. Questions about the C.E.R.T.
